NGE Inc. has been in the forefront in engineering innovation.  NGE Inc. has designed creative solutions on problems faced by municipalities and industry.

Sewer line plans

An innovative and successful project was a $1 Million TDCA Sewer Improvement Project in Las Milpas, Texas, in 1984.  A new and special rib sewer pipe made out of PVC was introduced and has been very successful.  It is now being used throughout the country.

Another innovative and very successful project was a $1.8 Million Wastewater Treatment Facilities Improvement Project for the City of Elsa, Texas.  A new innovative liquid solids separation system that utilized gravity was used in conjunction with an oxidation ditch system.

It is successfully one of the least complex biological treatment systems.  An external clarifier structure and mechanism is eliminated along with a return sludge removal and pumping system; therefore, there is a reduction in operation and maintenance of equipment.  This innovative system saves the cities about 30% of capital cost and 20% in electrical power over the life of the plant.  The rapid sludge removal method used with this innovative product is an improvement to the overall treatment plant performance has been very successful. In addition the water being returned to the enviroment is

This innovative wastewater treatment process was also used in the $2.8 Million facility constructed in the City of San Juan, Texas, in which NGE Inc. was the project engineer.  The use of this innovative product  is the third constructed in the State of Texas.
